Capello: No England recall for Beckham

England manager Fabio Capello has ended David Beckham’s faint hopes of playing at Euro 2012.
Instead, Capello insisted that Beckham should concentrate on being in the Great Britain football team at next summer's Olympics.
Capello took former England captain Beckham to the World Cup last year as part of his backroom team after an Achilles injury ended his dream of being part of the squad.
LA Galaxy star Beckham, who has won 115 caps, has vowed never to retire from England duty even though he is now 36.
But England boss Capello says he is not in his plans for Euro 2012 and claimed his best chance of further international action will be in the Olympics.
Capello said Beckham was a good influence around the squad at the World Cup but added: “I haven’t thought about this.
“I think he will only be involved in the Olympic Games.
"I don’t know. I have time to decide. But he is not in my plans now.”
