Achilles injury threat to Parker's Euros spot

Scott Parker is playing through the pain barrier because of a persistent Achilles problem.
Engkand manager Fabio Capello admits he is having to manage the Tottenham midfielder Parker's injury - and will leave him out of the side for Tuesday's friendly against Sweden.
The condition is a worry for the 31-year-old - who missed a chunk of last season because of a shoulder injury - ahead of next summer's Euro 2012 finals.
"He's got some problems with his Achilles. Always," confirmed Capello. "He needs time. I want to respect the clubs with these friendly games."
Capello also denied messing up in not taking Parker to last year's World Cup finals, claiming the player was not in the same rich vein of form he is this season.
"I didn't make a mistake," said the Italian. "Now, after two years, speaking about mistakes is too easy.
"The players who played at the World Cup were, at that moment, the best players. But now, others are playing really well.
"I chose Scott and he's playing all the games."
