Campbell in the frame for World Cup call

Fabio Capello will make a personal check on Sol Campbell - just 48 hours before naming his provisional World Cup squad.
England boss Capello is due to be at Arsenal’s final game of the season with Fulham on Sunday.
Capello will have Theo Walcott on his radar but it is also understood he wants to look at 35-year-old Campbell.
Campbell, set to be given a new one year deal at Arsenal, has already admitted this week he is desperate to go to the World Cup.
Capello is also short of options with worries over the form and fitness of first choice pairing Rio Ferdinand and John Terry.
The England manager wants to take Spurs’ injury prone Ledley King but has fears over Matt Upson and Michael Dawson’s lack of experience.
That has prompted Capello to make enquiries about Campbell after his outstanding recent displays for Arsenal.
Campbell could now be set for a dramatic recall for England’s provisional 30-man squad which is named next Tuesday.
