Arsene Wenger claims the pressure is on England to top their Euro 2012 group and avoid Spain next.
Wenger feels England will draw against France in the opener and will then need to better his homeland in their matches against Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine to win the group.
The Arsenal boss feels this is key to their hopes of progressing.
“Well, I must say I am sorry for England!” Wenger joked. “It’s interesting as England versus France is the first game. To me it looks like the difference between England and France will be how they do against the other two.
“What is very interesting is not only to get out, but also to come first as Spain could finish first in their group.”
