Euro 2008: Michael Ballack vows to win with Germany

Michael Ballack last night pledged to make up for his Champions League heartbreak with Chelsea by helping land Euro 2008 glory for Germany.
The inspirational midfielder aims to lead Germany past Turkey tomorrow and all the way to the ultimate triumph in Vienna on Sunday. Ballack said: "Winning Euro 2008 would be very important for me personally, an enormous success.
"But I've come so close before, with Germany and with my clubs, that I don't want to start thinking about it. Losing on penalties in Moscow really hurt.
"Now I have another chance to make things right."
