Mancini rules out move for Napoli star Hamsik

Roberto Mancini has ruled out a making a move for Napoli’s Marek Hamsik.
The very highly-rated midfielder was believed to be one of Manchester City’s more realistic transfer targets this summer, seeing as the Slovakian’s club won’t be involved in the Champions League next season.
However, after testifying in the continuing Calciopoli trial this morning, Mancini denied being interested in the 22-year-old when he was leaving court.
Hamsik has had a phenomenal season at Napoli, scoring 12 goals in Serie A from midfield, and is a certainty to become a star on the biggest European stage sooner or later.
