Everton and Middlesbrough battle it out for Bosnian striker Zvejdan Misimovic

Everton boss David Moyes is facing a battle with Middlesbrough's Gareth Southgate for the services of Nuremberg's Bosnian striker Zvejdan Misimovic.
The 25-year-old, who will quit the Bundesliga in the summer for around £1million, has managed to score goals in a struggling team that is set to be relegated.
Capped 32 times by his country, Misimovic has a good CV after starting his career with Bayern Munich, where he stayed for eight years.
Now Everton - working within a sensible budget but keen to recruit - are set to move in. Misimovic could be an ideal replacement for the injured Tim Cahill and could fill other roles in the squad.
His price tag and wages will not scare Everton - though Boro may yet beat them to the signature. Southgate is also watching Misimovic and could swoop as he fits the bill for his club and system, too.
