Everton chasing French youngster Sebastien Bassong

Everton plan a move for France Under-21 international Sebastien Bassong.

Goodison boss David Moyes has been impressed by the Metz defender, who has a year left on his contract.

And Toffees officials have made an approach for Parisborn Bassong, 21, who they could now land for a cut-price £2m, with Metz eager to cash in on him now rather than lose him later for nothing.
