Everton eye Portuguese striker Hugo Almeida: Scouting report and video

Everton have approached Werder Bremen with a view to signing striker Hugo Almeida on loan until the end of the season.
David Moyes has a firepower problem at Everton with Victor Anichebe the only Everton striker available to him at present.
Almeida joined Bremen from Porto in 2007 and has since notched 17 goals for the club in 57 games.
He also plays for the Portuguese national side and has scored 3 international goals since making his debut against England in 2004.
