Everton fury at Tottenham double raid on Sheffield United

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp made a remarkable £11million double raid for Sheffield United's young fullbacks Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker yesterday.
The highly-rated pair were in London for transfer talks after Spurs jumped into the chase to the annoyance of Everton who had a deal set up for Naughton.
Redknapp wants a package deal that would see Naughton join him now and Walker bought and then loaned back to the Blades for a season - as Football Spy revealed yesterday.
However the swoop has caused fury at Everton who had agreed a deal for Naughton last week and were assured that he was coming to them when he returned from United's trip to Malta.
But instead Naughton and Walker were at White Hart Lane to discuss terms on the complicated double transfer.
Everton chief David Moyes is seething at developments. He had made the running for Naughton for weeks and is astounded that Spurs were allowed to enter the race.
Redknapp had also been making inquiries for Blackburn's Steven Warnock but he is expensive and unavailable at the moment.
Walker is not needed immediately by Spurs, who have a handful of rightbacks, and that part of the move appeals to all sides as United boss Kevin Blackwell wants him for the next campaign - and the bank manager will be happy to see the cash in advance.
Everton may still make a belated attempt to attract Naughton to Goodison.
