Everton sign Arsenal defender on loan

Everton boss David Moyes last night agreed a deal to take Arsenal misfit Philippe Senderos on loan for the rest of the season.
Swiss defender Senderos, 23, nearly joined Everton last summer until Arsenal pulled the plug on the £3million deal at the last minute.
But Senderos has been frozen out this season, has seen Sol Campbell return to the club and was desperate to leave to save his World Cup hopes.
Everton have remained keen and persuaded Arsenal to strike a loan deal even though Senderos is out of contract at the end of the season.
Moyes has beaten off interest from Celtic, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich to snap up Senderos who was keen to stay in the Premier League.
