Everton to sign £4m Cameroon star Stephane M'Bia

David Moyes is ready to make giant Cameroon midfielder Stephane M'Bia his first signing of the summer in a £4million deal from French side Rennes.
Everton boss Moyes watched the powerful 22-year-old in action at the end of last season and has turned to him for the 'enforcer' role after Lee Carsley left and Gilberto Silva opted to sign a three-year contract with Greeks Panathinaikos.
Gilberto told Everton he did not want to play against Arsenal after such a long spell under Arsene Wenger.
M'Bia, who plays in front of the defence but can also fill in at right back, has been contacted through his advisers and is keen to come to Goodison - with the clubs close to sorting out the fee.
