Everton want Paul Scholes to quit Manchester United

Everton are trying to tempt Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes into quitting Old Trafford for Goodison.
David Moyes wants the former England international to follow in the steps of ex-United team-mates Phil Neville and Tim Howard with the promise that it will revive Scholes's career.
Scholes has just one year left on his United contract.
The 34-year-old is idolised by the United fans despite struggling with form and injuries last season.
He has been at United all his career and has made more than 500 appearances for the Reds. since making his debut in 1994.
Everton are prepared to offer Scholes a two-year deal and then a possible coaching role.
