Former Sheffield United defender Craig Short is the new manager of the club’s Hungarian sister side Ferencvaros.
Short, 41, who has been player-coach since September 2008, has taken over following the dismissal of manager Bobby Davison.
The ex-Everton and Blackburn centre-half spent the final two years of his playing career at Bramall Lane.
He played a key role in Blackburn’s promotion back to the Premier League in 2001 and helped United’s promotion from the Championship in 2006.
