Ex-Spurs boss Gerry Francis to take coaching role at Stoke

Former Tottenham manager Gerry Francis has opened talks with Stoke to sign a part-time coaching contract at the Britannia Stadium.

Francis, 56 out of management since 2001, has already been doing some coaching work with Stoke after a call from Tony Pulis.
