Exclusive: West Ham eye Raul Bobadilla

West Ham technical director Gianluca Nani wants to make Raul Bobadilla his first signing.

Argentinian Bobadilla, 21, scored 18 goals last season for Grasshoppers Zurich and the striker is the sort of player Nani is under orders to sign. He would cost £3million.

West Ham are anxious to trim their squad, with Anton Ferdinand, Freddie Ljungberg and Bobby Zamora among those who will be allowed to leave.
