FOOTBALL: 45-MINUTE ENGLAND

SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON has been warned that even FIFA see England as a 45-minute World Cup team.
The way they were twice pegged back by Sweden has led to claims that Sven's men are simply not fit enough.
That charge is disturbing with extra-time on Sunday if England can't beat Ecuador in 90 minutes. Kalusha Bwalya, FIFA's technical observer at the Sweden game, said: "If England were to win, it was going to happen in the first half. In the second half there was far more urgency in Sweden's game."
Swedish midfielder Matias Jonson said: "Our tempo was too high. England didn't have the strength to cope."
