Ancelotti: Capello will get it right

Fabio Capello has been ­handed a vote of confidence after England’s disastrous World Cup campaign.

England returned from South Africa with only one win under their belt against Slovenia and were eliminated after a 4-1 hammering by ­Germany in the first knock-out stage.

Then came the infamous Capello Index issue concerning the controversial ratings of players which has forced the FA to block any further commercial deals involving the England manager.

But Capello has found ­support from his compatriot at Chelsea. Carlo Ancelotti ­believes the England chief will use his immense know-how as a manager to emerge successfully from the crisis of ­confidence.

Ancelotti insisted: “He has a lot of experience as a ­manager.

“And he can use the defeat in the World Cup to have more strength in the ­future.”
