Fan Obama going to the World Cup

Barack Obama has accepted an invitation to attend the opening ceremony of next year's World Cup.
It will make West Ham fan Obama the first US President for 16 years to go to football's biggest tournament.
Fifa boss Sepp Blatter yesterday announced Mr Obama's intention to be at the World Cup to journalists in South Africa, where the 2010 tournament will be played.
Mr Blatter said: "The President of the US has been invited to the opening ceremony of the World Cup. He has accepted our invitation."
The event will be held in Johannesburg on June 11.
The President, whose father was born in Kenya, has told of a passion for football and says he watches Premier League matches on TV.
He saw West Ham play during a visit to Britain.
