Fernando Torres sent 50,000 fans home happy as he completed Liverpool's two match Asian tour with a goal.
Rafa Benitez's side beat Singapore 5-0 with a secondhalf goal glut inspired by their big guns who only appeared after the break.
"The tour has been a success, especially in terms of support," said Benitez. "When you plan tours like this it feels like a week is a long time to be away but when you see the faces of the fans, it makes it worth it."
He rested a majority of regular starters for the first-half at the National Stadium and Andriy Voronin's injury-time strike was the only positive of a lacklustre opening.
After the break, Liverpool, held to a 1-1 draw by Thailand on Wednesday, picked up their tempo with reserve striker Krisztian Nemeth (two), Albert Riera and Torres all scoring. Benitez said: "Normally during the pre-season, you can see the team getting fitter each week. In this case, we have been in Asia for one week and it was really good.
"You could see the team was stronger and fitter. Especially in the second half, when our opponents were a bit more tired, we played much better."
