Fit-again Dunn on comeback trail for club and country

David Dunn is determined to put himself back in the England picture before the end of the season.
Dunn, 30, proved he is over his calf injury by scoring the winner in the midweek reserve game against Hull and is eyeing up his first Premier League start in two months at Tottenham on Saturday.
The playmaker was being talked about for England after scoring six goals in his first 11 games before the calf injury first struck him down in November.
And he believes he can recapture that form for Rovers in a grandstand finish to the season.
"It's always good to be back out there and playing football," said Dunn, who recently signed a new two-and-a-half year deal at Ewood Park.
"I've had a couple of games for the reserves and a couple of first-team substitute appearances and am looking to try and force my way back into the first team.
"I feel ready, but then I have felt ready for a while now. I've been fit for three weeks and feel like I can get back to where I was before I got injured.
"It has been frustrating, but you're going to pick little things up. That's just football unfortunately and I'm fine with it all now.
"The plan is to end the season in the form I started it. I certainly believe in my ability. We have a lot of good players here and I feel if I'm fit, the rest takes care of itself."
