Brazil international jailed for rape

Brazilian winger Mancini was found guilty of rape by a Milan court today and sentenced to two years and eight months in jail, according to Italian news agency ANSA.

The former Brazil international was accused of sexual assault on a woman in December of 2010 while playing for AC Milan on loan from city rivals Inter.

The 31-year-old Mancini is now contracted to boyhood club Atletico Mineiro in Brazil.
