Barcelona have vowed to make Cristiano Ronaldo pay for his penalty miss in the Nou Camp.
Ronaldo missed a second-minute spot-kick in the first leg which would have given United a precious away goal and a significant advantage ahead of tonight's return tie.
Barca boss Frank Rijkaard said the Catalan giants would ensure the miss stays with the Portuguese winger for a long time to come.
Rijkaard said: "That penalty miss could prove to be very important if we go through, which I expect us to do. If United go out then the pressure will all be on Ronaldo for missing the penalty.
"And there is also pressure on him because he has vowed to make up for it."
Rijkaard is confident Barca can win the tie and dash hopes of a first ever all-England Champions League final.
The Barca coach added: "How confident am I? On a scale of one to five, I'd have to say five. I know we can go through and I have belief in my players."
