Fulham boss Roy Hodgson to stay at Craven Cottage

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson last night turned his back on Norway saying he wants to stay at Craven Cottage for the rest of his career.
The former Switzerland and Finland manager has been the unsung hero of the Premier League by taking the Cottagers to ninth in the table on the back of a 10-game unbeaten run.
Norway, without a coach since Age Hareide quit before Christmas, had hoped to tempt the 61-year-old back into international management. But Hodgson, who aims to take Fulham a step closer to survival against Blackburn today, rejected the Norwegian advances as he targeted a long-term stay at the Thames-side club.
Hodgson said: "Norway is a job that could interest me if I was free to take it. But I'm contracted to Fulham. They have treated me very well and I have never entertained thoughts of breaking my contract with them.
"I fully intend to stay with Fulham and hopefully they will be as happy with me as I am with them. I once made the mistake of breaking a contract with a very good club, FC Copenhagen, to go to Italy and I wouldn't do so again."
Hodgson, who was axed by Blackburn 10 years ago, said: "There was a knee-jerk reaction to the way we had started and I was sacked."
