Gary Johnson faces Bristol City axe

BRISTOL CITY are ready to part company with manager Gary Johnson.
Johnson has been in charge at Ashton Gate since September 2005 when the club was in League One.
He turned the Robins into an established Championship club and got them into the play-off final in 2008.
But City have won just twice in 12 League games to slip to within seven points of the relegation zone.
Now City owner Steve Lansdown appears to have run out of patience after Tuesday’s 3-2 loss at Plymouth.
City’s players have been told to report to the club at 9.30am today for a meeting ahead of Saturday’s home game with Newcastle.
