Gary Speed to have talks with Swansea

Gary Speed will have talks with Swansea about becoming their new manager this week - as the row rumbles on over Roberto Martinez's exit for Wigan.

Speed meets Swans' chairman Huw Jenkins on Monday and Sheffield United's player-coach is favourite for the job. But Swans will talk to others, as Speed will cost them around £500,000 in compensation.
