Glenn Roeder: Kevin Keegan a victim at Newcastle

Kevin Keegan was a victim of wanting to manage Newcastle "the English way" said his close friend Glenn Roeder.
Roeder, a former Toon boss now in charge at Norwich, said: "All Kevin wants is to be allowed to manage the English way, without this European fashion of putting someone between the owner and the manager in some kind of technical director role."
He added: "The club is a tragedy - it goes from one disaster to another. There's no stability and I don't think there has been for a long time."
John Anderson, who played alongside Keegan at Newcastle in the early eighties, said: "I don't think Mike Ashley has thought this through. When he gets the backlash he might understand.
"He sat with the fans but if he puts Dennis Wise in charge for the Hull game he doesn't know this club."
