Gus Poyet in line to be new Brighton boss

Gus Poyet will tomorrow be interviewed for the vacant Brighton manager’s job.
The Seagulls have switched attention to the former Tottenham and Leeds coach after being turned down by experienced boss Steve Coppell.
The move for Poyet, 41, marks a dramatic change in approach by the League One club.
Coppell is one of the elite managers with more than 1,000 games experience and a proven record of success with Reading and Crystal Palace.
Poyet has never been a manager in his own right. He worked with Dennis Wise at Swindon and Leeds and was Juande Ramos’ No.2 at Spurs.
