Hardie blow for Saints

St Johnstone could be without Martin Hardie for Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at Hearts after the midfielder suffered a knee injury in a behind-closed-doors game against Falkirk.
Hardie had scored in the 5-1 victory, with Kevin Moon, Paul Sheerin, Peter MacDonald and a trialist also on target.
Manager Derek McInnes told the club's official website, www.stjohnstonefc.co.uk: "It was a good work-out for a number of players on a very heavy pitch but Martin's injury has overshadowed what was a very worthwhile exercise."
He added: "We'll assess it over the next day or two but my early thoughts are that it could lead to Martin being out for a week or two."
