Harry Redknapp plots £10m swoop for Ivory Coast striker Seydou Doumbia

Spurs plan a £10million raid for Ivory Coast striker Seydou Doumbia – tipped to be Didier Drogba’s World Cup partner.
Boss Harry Redknapp had the 21-year-old watched on Sunday, when he scored for Young Boys of Berne in a 2-0 win over Basle.
Spurs face competition from Ruben Kazan and CSKA Moscow for Doumbia, whose 16 goals this season have helped put Young Boys top of the Swiss Super League. Ruben and CSKA have already had £8m bids rejected.
Sources close to Doumbia, who scored against Germany last month in his first full start for Ivory Coast, say he would prefer the Premier League to Russian football.
