Premier League striker Michael Chopra and his model wife Heather Swan have split a MONTH after their £250,000 wedding.
Heather, of ITV2's Wags Boutique (second from left), kicked him out of their £1million home and is telling pals the marriage is over.
Just four weeks ago the couple, who have a five month old son, were exchanging vows in front of 200 guests at Orchardleigh House in Somerset.
It was Friday the 13th - and the following morning 30 wedding guests saw them having a row at breakfast.
Then there was constant bickering during the first week of their honeymoon, which was meant to take in Capri in the Med and then Barbados.
But the £30,000-a-week Sunderland star returned to the UK while Heather had a holiday alone in the Caribbean.
A source close to the footballer said: "Heather is absolutely devastated by the collapse of her marriage. She thought they would be together forever. Instead they had their first argument 24 hours after the ceremony and fought like cat and dog in Capri.
"They were booked into Barbados's Sandy Lane hotel for the second leg of the honeymoon but in the end Heather went alone. When she returned to England she asked Michael to leave the marital home. Then she went and stayed with her parents.
"She is now back at home while he is staying 14 miles away in rented accommodation. Michael is hopeful of a reconciliation, if for no other reason, than for the sake of their young son."
Heather, 24, planned a wedding at which no expense was spared. She walked down an aisle covered in white roses lined with 3ft glass "candles".
At the party afterwards there was a free champagne bar and an ice sculpture shaped as an angel dispensing vodka.
Chopra, 24, who signed to Sunderland from Cardiff for £5million last summer, has had several boozy nights out in his home city of Newcastle since returning from his ill-fated honeymoon.
He has now gone back to training while Heather looks after their son.
The pair went to the same bar opening on Saturday night but arrived and left separately and stayed apart all evening.
Yesterday Heather spoke through the intercom of their home near Morpeth, Northumberland, only to say: "I would rather not comment."
And when Chopra was asked why the pair were living apart he said: "I've still got my wedding ring, haven't I?"
