Pompey veteran seals new one-year extension

Defender Hermann Hreidarsson has agreed a new one-year deal with Portsmouth.

The Iceland star, 36, is due back from a seven-month Achilles injury lay-off on Monday.

Pompey boss Steve Cotterill said: “We just hope he’ll be the player he was before injury.”
