Heurelho Gomes misses comrade Carlo Cudicini

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is praying that Carlo Cudicini makes a full recovery and says the dressing room is not the same without him.
Gomes admits the Spurs players were shell-shocked to learn the Italian had been in a motorbike accident.
Cudicini fractured his pelvis and both his wrists after crashing his BMW superbike into a Ford Fiesta car and was rushed to hospital, where he underwent surgery.
The former Chelsea keeper was released from hospital last week and surprised his team-mates when he made a return to the club’s training ground last Thursday.
Gomes is now hopeful that Cudicini will not suffer any further setbacks and will be able to resume training before the end of this season.
Gomes said: “The first person I see in the dressing room when I arrive in the morning normally is Carlo, but on the day of the accident he wasn’t there.
“Then I heard the news and I was shocked – we all were. He’s a great guy and a very good goalkeeper and I hope he is back as soon as possible.
“We are both fighting for the same position in the team but we both understand this and have great respect for each other.
“Carlo is a strong character and I’m sure he will be back. On behalf of all the players I would like to wish him all the best.”
