Hull City boss Phil Brown is ready to go into battle with Blackburn to land Egypt midfielder Hosney Abd-Rabou.
Brown is chasing the playmaker who is currently with Dubai club Al Ahli but is desperate to come to the Premier League and has already had an offer from Paul Ince's Rovers.
Abd-Rabou, 24, has played in the French top flight with Strasbourg.
He said: "Hull are a very good team who made a big impact in the Premier League."
