Hull chasing midfielder Geovanni

Premier League new boys Hull City aim to land midfielder Geovanni.

The 27-year-old, a free agent after quitting Manchester City, is back home in Brazil where he is in talks with Cruzeiro.

But he has been invited to the Tigers' pre-season training camp in Italy.

Hull boss Phil Brown has not given up on signing Bernard Mendy and Stelios despite competition from Werder Bremen and Sampdoria.
