Manchester United skipper Gary Neville has attacked rivals Liverpool and says he's confident that United can finish higher than them in the league.
When asked if he thought Liverpool will win their first league title in 19 years this season, he replied: "I hope not."
"They have started well and had some good results," he continued. "They beat us, which was disappointing for us, but will obviously give them confidence."
The defender continued that losing to Liverpool wasn't as big a set back as losing to Newcastle.
"You can always lose to Liverpool away in the league even if you never accept it and it is always disappointing.
"We are two points behind because of that result against Newcastle."
Sticking his neck on the line Neville went to predict that Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea will be 08/09 Premier League champions.
"We know the champions will be one of those four. It is a case of who puts the most consistent run together."
