Alan Curbishley insists all bets are off after being made favourite to become the first Premier League boss to get the bullet.
The West Ham manager is 4-1 to be the first victim of the new season after last year's mediocre showing.
But Curbishley claims leading an injury-ravaged squad to 10th place was a massive result.
Curbs said: "I'm not a gambling man so I won't take too much notice of it.
"People need to have a reality check. Finishing 10th was a big achievement."
