I should still be Chelsea boss says Mourinho

Jose Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge last night to tell the Chelsea board: “I should still be your manager.”
Mourinho has the chance to destroy Roman Abramovich’s Champions League dream once again as he brings his Inter Milan side to SW6.
And the Portuguese showed that two-and-a-half years away from English football has not dulled his desire for confrontation as he insisted he was still “the Special One”.
Mourinho said: “I always try to look forward.
“But I feel sorry because, although Sir Alex Ferguson is above every one of us, when I look at Manchester United, at Liverpool and at Arsenal, they’re all still there.
“Sir Alex is there. Wenger is there. Benitez is there. I did more than enough to be here. But the decision was made.
“Chelsea looked forward. I look forward. They move on. I move on.
“I keep winning important things. They keep winning something - they won an FA Cup!“
Mourinho’s San Siro reign appears to be reaching its end, with the Inter boss in open conflict with the Italian media and footballing authorities and having left striker Mario Balotelli behind following a training ground ruck
The Portuguese side-stepped questions about the incident and opted not to pursue his long-standing grudge with Carlo Ancelotti.
But as he predicted a rousing reception from the Blues fans who still idolise him, Mourinho added: “I do not believe I will be booed by the fans, I will be clapped.
“But whatever happens, of course I will still be the Special One. My motivation is the same. If I am still managing at 70, like Giovanni Trapattoni, I will still have things to prove. After the game, win or lose, I will still be the Special One.”
