The Boys in Green will be able to score on and off the pitch at the European Championships, Irish boss Giovanni Trapattoni vowed yesterday.
He said WAGs will not be banned from training camps when the squad travel to Poland and Ukraine next summer.
The players will be working hard and there will be time to meet their other halves for a quick romp.
Trap said: “There is space for the family or girlfriend. Drink beer or not drink beer.
“It’s possible to have time to relax, meet with the family and after the games, friendly games, give them half-days.
“But when we are working we need to stay together.”
The 72-year-old previously spoke of his belief that abstaining from sex before matches is NOT a good idea.
Science would seem to back up the belief as according to scientists it boost testosterone levels for a more aggressive performance.
The Irish boss is the toast of the country after getting the team to our first major championships in a decade.
Trapattoni has hailed his “fantastic” team and the emotional boss has said this achievement ranks up there with the best he has ever had.
The manager looks dead set to get a new two year contract from his FAI bosses and he said yesterday he wants to stay.
Trap said: “We are happy about our team. We have trust and we are confident that we have a good team. We believe in this team. In the future we have new options and we discover them in every game. “Yesterday was not a beautiful game but the team has shown us their will to win. The system and character are important.
“We were very happy. I usually contain my anger and contain my joy. I went into changing room and forgot the lap of honour with the people. We achieved what the players and fans wanted. That was your celebration and party. I’m happy with the job we done.”
The legendary manager has been there and done with it massive outfits like Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.
But he said him and his staff will not get carried away with qualification.
He did say it would be great to draw his native Italy but is not fussed about who we draw in the draw on December 2.
Trap said: “We can have an adventure [if we draw Italy]. It would be a great satisfaction. It’s better to have another, but not sure which.
“Maybe Ukraine or Poland! Oh no! Don't say maybe we beat! (rows back here). All the teams are the same, having no injuries important.”
