Jackson urges Bougherra sale

Former Rangers defender Colin Jackson believes the Ibrox club should cash in on Madjid Bougherra in January.
The Algerian defender is out of favour with Light Blues' boss Walter Smith at the moment after his recent failure to return from international duty on time, his third similar indiscretion. Team-mates Lee McCulloch and Kenny Miller criticised the attitude of the former Charlton player with Miller reportedly involved in a training ground bust-up with him last Friday.
"I don't know what his problem is, I don't know why he's done this but he's done it more than once and I can see why frustration has arisen. I'm sure Walter must be thinking 'enough's enough'," said Jackson.
"It's a strange situation to be in. He's a good player and they could get a good bit of money for him.
"It may be that the best move is to get some money in. And so from that angle, yes."
Jackson continued: "From a playing angle I like watching Bougherra.
"He's the kind of player Rangers need.
"But if the money was there, I'm talking a big sum, a few million pounds, I think Rangers would part with him."
