Joe Cole faces new battle for place in Chelsea first team

Joe Cole will have to fight for his place in Chelsea's side - after being told he was not 'determined' enough by boss Carlo Ancelotti.
England World Cup hopeful Cole was shocked to be subbed after just 45 minutes of his latest comeback at Blackburn as Ancelotti turned to kid Gael Kakuta in his place.
The Italian manager was unhappy with his side's first-half display and felt they were off the pace and 'not showing the right determination' in the tie.
Ancelotti showed his steely side when he dragged off Cole, Deco and Juliano Belletti in a dramatic turnaround and revealed: "I do not normally make so many changes, but it was better to do that at that time."
Cole hardly got a kick in his second game in four days and was a dejected figure at the end as his mates limped out of the Carling Cup and blew their quadruple bid.
Kakuta's arrival is a new threat to Cole, but he would appear to be the player most under threat if Chelsea can complete the swoop for Atletico Madrid's Argentine Sergio Aguero.
