Jurado pens new deal

Atletico Madrid midfielder Jose Manuel Jurado has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Vicente Calderon until 2013.
Jurado joined the Primera Division outfit in August 2006 and has been rewarded for a string of impressive displays with a three-year extension to his existing deal.
The 23-year-old hit nine goals while on loan at Mallorca last season and has impressed on his return to Atletico, netting three goals in a side that have struggled for form and find themselves mired in the Primera Division's relegation zone.
The announcement of Jurado's new deal comes hot on the heels of confirmation influential striker Diego Forlan has also committed to Atletico until the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
