Kanu set to sign-up for Notts County revolution

Veteran striker Kanu is set to become the next big-name player to join ambitious League Two outfit Notts County.
After becoming a free agent in the summer Kanu agreed only a new one-month deal with Portsmouth, which is due to run out in a few days’ time.
Once his contract expires the Nigerian star, 33, will be able to walk out of Fratton Park and join former Pompey team mate Sol Campbell at Meadow Lane.
Kanu joined Pompey three years ago on a free transfer from West Brom, and his goal enabled the south coast club to lift the FA Cup 16 months ago for the first time in nearly 70 years.
But his appearances have been limited since Paul Hart became Pompey boss in February, and the arrival of front men Tommy Smith, Frederic Piquionne and Aruna Dindane have pushed him further down the pecking order, prompting his decision to move on.
