Kasper Schmeichel wants to quit Manchester City

Kasper Schmeichel has accused Sven Goran Eriksson of duping him into signing a new contract at Manchester City after admitting he is desperate to quit.
Shot-stopper Schmeichel, son of legendary keeper Peter, has not played for City since last September following Joe Hart's emergence.
The Dane, 21, wants first team football to continue his impressive progress after breaking into City's team at the start of last term when he kept four clean sheets in seven games.
But he fears ex-England boss Eriksson, sacked in June after one season managing City, only picked him to ensure he penned a four-year deal - and is very frustrated.
"I want to leave City - no question," insisted Schmeichel, whose dad spent a year at the club in 2002/2003.
"It is heartbreaking every time you don't play and one year sitting on the bench would not be good for my development.
"I have been trying to leave for a while because last season, the week after I signed a contract, I was told I wasn't playing.
"Sven was telling me he wanted me to play and let me develop and every day he was asking me about my contract situation.
"But as soon as I signed the contract, when I got to the hotel before playing Newcastle away in September, I was told I wasn't playing.
"At the time I was playing and I had a good offer of a good contract but it might have been a mistake to sign for the four years."
City let Schmeichel go on loan to Cardiff last October and Coventry in March as he helped keep the Sky Blues in the Championship.
But he is annoyed City then ignored THREE bids for him from the Sky Blues.
And he is now hoping Eriksson's successor, Mark Hughes, signs a new keeper to compete with Hart so they let him leave.
"I've been told there is no chance of me leaving but I want to play first-team football," he added.
