Keith Treacy has backed under-fire manager Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell to handle the flak ahead of tonight's home clash with Newcastle.
Blackwell has come in for some stick from his own supporters following the Blades' woeful run of six games without a win.
He is desperate to arrest his team's slide with a win against Chris Hughton's men and knows another defeat could lead to more calls for him to be sacked.
More than 100 supporters staged a demonstration against him following the last home game.
But Treacy insists the players are right behind Blackwell and that he is strong enough to cope with the pressure.
The Republic of Ireland under-21 winger said: "We are all in it together. Everyone is behind the gaffer and he is big enough to handle it.
"It is unfair, but it is the pressure of being at a big club and that is what happens when you lose a few games.
"I think it is little harsh, but I am sure if we beat Newcastle that will quieten down again."
"I am sure we will put it right tonight and, if not, we will keep going.
"It is not about how you start, it is about how you finish. I am sure we will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season."
