Kevin Doyle becomes a £6.5m Wolves player

Wolves last night broke their transfer record to sign Reading striker Kevin Doyle for £6.5million.
The newly-promoted side beat off competition from Fulham, Sunderland and Bolton.
And they will parade their new big-money signing at Molineux today.
The Republic of Ireland international, 25, is set to pen a long-term deal.
He will form a formidable strike force with Sylvan EbanksBlake, (right) Wolves' proflic top scorer from last season.
Doyle, who scored 55 goals in 154 League games for Reading, only signed an extension to his contract last November taking him through to June 2011.
But Reading decided to cash in on Doyle, who had a buy-out clause, following their play-off failure last season.
His arrival is a major boost to Wolves boss Mick McCarthy, who has only signed Nenad Milijas and Marcus Hahnemann so far this summer.
The signing would be more double than Wolves' joint-record fees of £3m for Kenny Miller and Ade Akinbiyi.
Wolves midfielder Dave Edwards, 23, has agreed a new three-year contract.
The Wales international had just 12 months to run on his existing deal and had been in talks with the club since the end of the season. "I'm delighted to sign the new contract," Edwards said on the club's website. "It's something that had been ongoing over the summer but with holidays and international duty it's just taken time to get sorted.
"To know I'll be here another three years and that the manager wants me is something I'm very proud of."
