Kevin Keegan upbeat about Newcastle's chances next season

Kevin Keegan eyed up a giant silver tea urn in Newcastle's luxurious team hotel and summoned sidekick Terry McDermott for a photograph.
It was the first silverware Keegan has got his hands on as Toon boss and he could not resist joking: "Let's take this home, we can tell everyone we've won the cup!"
Despite a summer blighted by turmoil - the Joey Barton shambles, boardroom coup rumours, cost-cutting and a slow start in the transfer market - this was vintage Keegan.
And holding court in Majorca yesterday, Keegan added: "There is no reason why we can't have our dreams. We might do better than a lot of people think.
"We might not do as well as we think we can. But that's the fascination of a season. With everyone fit we already have a very strong squad."
Keegan appears happy with his United signings, including Jonas Gutierrez, Danny Guthrie and Sebastian Bassong.
And he declared: "Take Spurs out of it and not many teams have got three players in. Look at Villa, Everton. Some clubs are still to do their business.
"Two or three more players would be absolutely ideal for us. In a perfect world, if we can get that then great.
"We're trying to add quality and that's what's difficult."
