Kevin Phillips, 36: I can still star in the Premier League for Birmingham

Kevin Phillips has vowed to prove he can still cut it in the Premier League at the age of 36.

Phillips is desperate to show former club West Brom were wrong to dump him last summer by firing Birmingham City to survival this season.

He said: "I have said all along that I was determined to help this club get in the Premier League and now I intend to enjoy a season in it."
