Kieran Gibbs set to sign new long-term Arsenal contract

Kieran Gibbs will be offered a new long-term deal at Arsenal as a reward for his stunning progress.
The 19-year-old South Londoner is a product of their highly-successful academy and made his Premier League debut only in February when he came on as a sub at Tottenham.
He was then given an extended run of matches that included the Champions League semi-final against Manchester United.
Gibbs has also made an impact in Sweden, where England U21s have qualified for the European Championship semis. He is likely to be rested for tomorrow's final group game with Germany after picking up a knock.
