Kranjcar to stay at Pompey for UEFA Cup campaign

Niko Kranjcar has admitted qualifying for the UEFA Cup could delay his departure from Fratton Park.
The Croatian midfielder has attracted the interest of top clubs all over Europe.
And the 24-year-old said he would be "crazy" not to want to play in the Champions League before the end of his career. But the £3.5million signing from Hajduk Split, who is now worth five times that amount, insists he is in no hurry.
"I will say it like this - if I don't go anywhere and stay at Portsmouth I am very happy here," he said.
"I would be crazy if I said I would not be tempted by big clubs because everyone wants to achieve as much as they can in their career, play Champions League football and win more trophies.
"But I am very happy at Portsmouth, especially winning the Cup. Next season will get better. We will be playing in Europe and that is another reason why I am happy here. And if we strengthen in the summer, the only way is up."
